Will be visiting the area from Calais down to Sailly Bray soon. Anyone got some reliable sites for Icterine and Melodious Warblers ? I usually stumble across them but it's a bit hit and miss and I don't have a reliable site for either of them.

Also are there any interesting migrants there at the moment (other than the usual breeding species). Belgium and Holland are having a good run at the moment but there does not seem to be a lot of info from this area in France.

Excellent - thanks very much.

Do you know how to best access that area, i.e. where to watch from ?

The best access is by "avenue de la mer". You can park your car at the end en walk to the beach.

Thanks for the tip.....13 Kentish Plovers there today (at least). Very good day with Black Kite, Melodious Warbler, Honey Buzzard and many more of the speciality birds in the Calais area.
