Shrike ID Question: Long-tailed or Burmese Shrike? (1 Viewer)

Last week I observed a shrike in a local park in Guangxi province. Wasn't certain whether it was Long-tailed or Burmese. Any help on the ID of this bird and ID tips for each would be appreciated.

Looks very Burmese to me. Tail looks a bit short and appears to have white outer edges which LT would not. Not enough rufous coloration to the flanks for LT. Also grey hood would extend down the back on LT. But I don't have actual field experience with this one, so I'll agree with Tom to defer to Mike and Andrew.

Burmese for me too - more compact than Long-Tailed and the back is definitely more chestnut than rufous-orange.

Cheers
