Colombia March 2020 (Andes, Magdalena Valley, Santa Marta)

23 day trip through Colombia with full-time guide including good quality accommodation, food, transport (combination of van and 4x4), park fees, internal flights. Areas visited include Chingaza, Sumapaz, Valle Anchicaya, Sonso, Montezuma, Otun, Rio Blanco, Jardin, Rio Bravo, Minca, El Dorado, Perija mountains.

3 birders already confirmed (1 UK, 1 Australia, 1 Netherlands) and space for 1 more birder to join us. Our maximum number is 4. Trip starts in and ends in Bogota with probable start date March 7th. Price for single room $4250 all-in. Would be cheaper if prepared to share and 1 participant interested in this option.

Fantastic trip and amazingly competitive price compared to joining off the shelf trips. Lots of research done on companies, guides and sites. No hardcore photographers please - we are looking to maximise trip numbers.

Please PM if you are interested and would like further details.

I think it's nice that you're taking your time (23d), I like to "travel slow" and comprehensively. Your choice of month (March) is good, although I wonder why not February.

How is your itinerary covering the Pacific and Amazon ecosystems?

Hi Arun
Pacific and Amazon are another trip entirely! Not touching them on this one. February is peak time when all the best sites and lodges are full of birders and playback. March is generally a touch quieter.
Regards Pash
