Townsend Solitaire; what's on its leg? Omaha, NE., USA (1 Viewer)

Hello!

Can anyone tell what's on this bird's (Townsend's Solitaire) left leg? Probably not, but thought that if anyone could, Bird Forum birders could. Photographed today in mixed deciduous and conifer meadow along lake in Omaha, NE., USA. Thanks much for looking!

Best,
Kelly

Ducksanddogs and Jeff hopkins,

Great. I'm happy to hear that. I just kept seeing something odd attached to the leg. I knew you guys would figure it out in a flash. Thanks a million!

Best to you both,
Kelly
