Are these Great or Little?

Early dawn photos but looks to me like the legs extend quite a bit past the tail (=Great Egret).

structurally these look like little egrets. please always also mention the date you took the pics if you ask for an ID, orvany. it makes things easier.

Sorry, the sighting was today. I thought that by default no date mentioned means today.

ok, these definitely are little egrets then ;)
great white have orange bills by now and what i meant about structure: the bend neck in great white is 'hanging' down much more, similar to purple heron, and legs stick out even more, proportionally.

Like you Nutcracker I was/am puzzled by the apparent lack of yellow on the feet; would have thought it would be visible on at least one of the birds.

If they've been foraging in sticky mud, the feet can be obscured until they stand in clear water for a while...

At least we can rule out ssp nigripes with the nearest in the Sundas...
