Hi all,

Is this a Dog's Tooth? The 'tooth' looks too small for Pale Shouldered Brocade. Or could it be a worn Light Brocade (unlikely in my view).

I'd go for Light Brocade.

Hi David - the ID seemed pretty good......the 'tooth' is noticeable.

There was also a Light Brocade that had lost all its colour but even then the ghosting of the dark marks either side of the thorax were still obvious.

I'm confused which moth you are asking for identification on! For me, on the left is a Rustic Shoulderknot and on the right is a Light Brocade.

One on the left. Perhaps I should have made it clearer. Agree with both IDs
