do flamingoes breed in majorca? (1 Viewer)

having just been and seen for first time the flamingoes in majorca and told they are all year round ?do they breed here to please?seen about 60 on salt pans,would like to go back if they do.and when and if do they? thanks if can help

As no-one else has ventured to answer this query I will say that I am pretty sure that they don't, yet, but their breeding grounds appear to be expanding within a large slice of the N Med coastline.

I'm fairly sure that the ones that you have seen are non-breeders and relatively low in numbers compared to those that you would see on the Portuguese/Spanish/French coasts.
