Alaotra Grebe extinct (1 Viewer)

Well, I woulden't say that and the Madagascar Pochard is an perfect example. It was feared to be extinct as well but was rediscovered a few years ago and is now increasing in numbers quite rapidly due to a breeding programme now taking place on Madagascar.
