Out for a walk round the reservoir this afternoon and spotted a Ring-necked Parakeet in the trees. First time I have seen one in this area, spotted one some years ago at Pennington Flash. Also a lot of swifts, martins and swallows as well as a Sedge Warbler (first for me this year). Great to watch the grebes courting. Despite heavy rainfall towards the end of the walk, we (me and my wife) had a great afternoon out birding.:scribe:
