South Africa - Kgalagadi (1 Viewer)

Photographed in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, November 2010. Habitat - Kalahari Desert.

This little bird was not unlike a Marico Flycatcher, which was common in the area, but lacked the Marico's clear white underside. I thought perhaps juvenile, but the juvenile Marico is reported as streaked below and spotted above. Chat Flycatcher is a possible alternative - it certainly occurs in the area - but I am not sure.
Any opinions would be welcomed.
Thank you,
Dave
