Yes Many. The biggest and best is The Chatuchak complex of Queen Sirikit & Suan Rot fai parks. You can ride the skytrain right to it. And the huge Cahtuchak market. There are quite a few other smaller parks along the skytrain, Benchakiti and Benjasiri to name two, and I found interesting birds in all of them. Check ebird for Bangkok.

I have not been in May in Bangkok, only in March.
In Bangkok itself is
This park is near Metro station.
It is easy to find 30 dfferent birds in 2 - 3 h.

Baan Poo was good for waders, Kingfishers, terns and many Brown headed gulls.
There are birds at coast, but good bird watching at low tide in the Roosting pools.

Bang Poo is OK, but although some birds will be close by, you'll want a scope to enjoy them and ID them properly, as a large percentage will be out of reach for binoculars.

Bang Pu is great, and I try to get there a couple of times a month. Even in May you should get 40+species in a morning, more if early May, but I do agree a scope, while not necessary, comes in handy.
If I'm free, I'd be more than happy to join you for a morning/afternoon at Bang Pu.

Can definitely recommend Suan Rot Fai as mentioned above. April is best for migration, May is getting late though there may be the odd lingering migrant? Go THROUGH Chatuchak Park from the Skytrain station - not much to see in its more open environment - bare DIAGONALLY RIGHT for a few hundred yards and exit the gates at the far side, cross the road and you'll find SRF. You'll recognise Chatuchak Park by its pedalos shaped to look like Swans.
