3, ?? Rather worn but to my surprise it didn't have a yellow underwing!

From the markings I think it might be a very dark Dark Sword-grass - but doing a very good impression of Alchymist!

Yes that looks a good bet. The previous photo is a good rendition of the colour of the animal but this one shows the markings better and they do appear to be consistent with dark Dark Sword-grass.
