This morning on the local BBC News I saw a report of a Citrine Wagtail sighting in Norfolk. I am not an avid Bird watcher therefore did not realise what I had seen 4 weeks ago was a rare bird which I spotted in Hitchin town centre next to the river...!

Hi jhorobin,

A warm welcome to BirdForum from all the Moderators and Admin. Glad to have you on board :t:

Are you sure that the bird you saw was a Citrine - which is a rare bird in the UK. Could it have been a Yellow or Grey Wagtail ?
