Garden Warbler? Drums, NE Scotland 8 Sept

Good afternoon,

I saw this bird in a coastal Willow thicket and could do with some ID help. It was with some Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs.

Is this a Garden Warbler? I've never seen one before. Apologies for the pictures, pretty hard to get a clear shot!

Thanks for any help with the ID.

Pete

Nice fat caterpillar there!! It looks like Eyed Hawkmoth (Smerinthus ocellata), a species that actually feeds on willows.
