broken wing

i found a pigeon with a broken wing and i dont no what to do with it i called animal control but i think they will kill it can you help me please thank you dora

Hi, Dora. If you are in Chicago, IL, USA, I found a bird-rescue website there.

From a cursory look, it appears they are new, but you might try them as a starting place. If nothing else, perhaps they can better direct you to find the help you need. The only other thing I can think of is that you might look in your phone book for anything related to bird rescue.

Unfortunately, Pigeons don't seem to rate high on the ladder of rehab specialists. Sometimes a few calls to your local vets might prove fruitful for you. It has worked on a couple of occasions with me. Good luck and keep us posted.
