Hello all, I just thought I would introduce myself. I am Brazilian but I live and work in London. My passion for birds started at a young age when I was lucky enough to watch the hummingbirds visit a papaya tree in full bloom outside our kitchen door. I love nature in general but have a soft spot for birds, specially raptors.
As I have grown older, so has my interest in birds. The more I learn about them, the more I love them.
When I am not at work, I am usually somewhere with my camera looking for birds (it has now become an ongoing joke amongst my friends).
I often go to Richmond Park as I don’t live far and spend hours looking around for the little feathery creatures. I have seen a lot of kestrels there recently and I just love watching them hover as they look for prey.
I look forward to being part of the forum, learning and sharing experiences.
