Bird for id....! (1 Viewer)

Wishful thinking to be able to secure an id from this angle I imagine. To me it looks most like a fledgling little tern - which it quite clearly isn't!
 
My initial reaction was Siskin or Goldfinch. However, the tail seems to have straight end, which is un finch like. The beak appears to have a slight lower mandible curve when the picture is blown up. It's one of these where we need more info about location, apparent size in comparison to a familiar species, any movement seen (jizz) etc.
