Bartel Grassland Cook County south of Chicago Illinois - July 18,2019
Single bird, found sitting in a snag overlooking a pond on the edge of Bartell Grassland south of Chicago Illinois. The pond is out of the picture on the left side of the wood line. About 2 acres in size, the pond has a wood line on 2 sides, roads with a brush line break on the other two sides. I have other photos only darker and taken at a greater distance.
Juvie Bald Eagle.....looking for conformation.
