Black grouse (1 Viewer)

Hi all. Appreciate this is my second post of my short Bird Forum involvement and I am mindful this may raise questions, however, I am trying to find some information on a spot to observe black grouse (BG).

I am visiting Moffat this weekend, and have previously observed BG near Innerleithen, from my car following the BG code of conduct. I am familiar with their behaviour but trying to find a suitable location to bird watch north of Moffat.

I have been informed there may be a potential to view them near Corehead and Stanhope (south of Drumelzier), with a walking track at Stanhope Estate. However, although I have over twenty years birding experience (and yes trying to find them is part of the challenge!), any information on a suitable location would be really appreciated.

Happy to receive PM's if required. Thank you again.
