robins today
seven inches of snow yesterday and 6 degrees this morning and a half dozen robins show up today . they sat in dogwood tree in bright sunshine for a while and left . we've also been seeing a wren almost daily . i realize the robins might find some berries to pick at but don't know how the poor wren gets enough food to survive . . . peace

We have a few Carolina wrens and Bewick's wrens coming to our yard. They spend a good amount of time on the woodpecker suet feeder...seem to really like it.
