Kodak Pixpro Announces their AZ1000 with 102X Optical Zoom!

I knew it was in the works for awhile and today at Photokina they officially announced this camera. I'm excited to get my hands on one and see what I can get. Looks to have some great features like 4K video, larger/faster buffer, 7fps burst, etc.

If they keep the size near their AZ901 (90X zoom), this will be a welcome plus. I have the AZ901 and have been very pleased with it.

Interesting...the design looks like the Aldi version of the P1000 though.

What's a Aldi?

The size and weight is substantially smaller and lighter than the P1000.

Aldi is a European budget supermarket.

Nikon now do a Coolpix bridge with 125x optical zoom.

I mean it will do the job, likely much cheaper and lower quality than the P1000. Time will tell.
