Is anyone else having trouble getting the Terra 8 x 42? I ordered one August 12 and was told they won't be available until mid Sep. I wonder why.

Sounds like a spike in demand has caught Zeiss out at a time of low stocks so you are having to wait for the next production run.

The bonus is that you will get a fresh-off-the-production-line Terra that hasn't been sitting on a shelf anywhere.

My wait (in late July) for a Victory Pocket was also 4 weeks. Zeiss customer service did tell me it would be 4 - 6 weeks before they shipped.

Shop around, others outlets may have the Terra in stock.
