Focus settings ? (1 Viewer)

Starting out digiscoping with a Redfield Regal 25 x spotting scope and a Canon Powershot A1400 point and shoot camera. My question is, is it better to set the camera focus range to Macro, Normal or Landscape mode?

Set to Normal..... if done correctly you will just focus the scope via your eyes, attach camera and take a shot. Now, where that might differ is if you are 'hand-holding' as then you might have to focus again. Hand holding the camera can be done with digiscoping, but more difficult than an adapter.
