3 Winter visitors & one unusual passerby (1 Viewer)

Today we've been blessed with several Redwings, one Fieldfare, one Brambling and what appeared to be either a passing or an overwintering Ring Ouzel - browner than in summer but still with a distinct pale crescent across its chest. Do they overwinter?

Crikey you got some birds down there! All i get is sparrows and starlings! Never even seen a ring ouzel and you have them in your garden!

We are very lucky. This is our third winter in this house and we've had redwings & fieldfares every year. The brambling was our first in this garden. As for the ring ouzel - I'm starting to doubt what I saw. One of my field guides says beware of blackbirds with white markings - could it have been an immature blackbird with a white mark on its breast?
