OMG that is so funny! A common or garden House Sparrow! I can hardly believe it, it looks so different to my notion of what a House Sparrow looks like. I would expect a sparrow to have much more dark brown around the head than that.

I suppose I so very rarely see House Sparrows where I live nowadays, this has caught me totally off guard!

Now I'll just crawl quietly away back into the undergrowth.
