Hi, These photos were sent to me by someone from Nottingham, UK and have me stumped. They wondered if the bird was an escaped Pink Pigeon. Admittedly, it does show a passing resemblance to that species, although I'd think it highly unlikely that this would be the case. Also, in some of the photos the bird shows what appears to be a rather large pale bill, reminiscent of a parrot or something.
Any thoughts as to what this bird is?
