hello people, just recently moved out to a really small town in western kentucky, I've always been an avid outdoors person, really love hiking/biking/camping/motorcycles/photography thought I would go ahead and get into bird watching, it was always something I thought was interesting but never really dove into it. So I'm here to learn as much as possible, I'm really new to it and know pretty much nothing, so I will probably do a lot more reading then posting at least for now. But I almost always have my camera with me, so I will be posting photos from time to time, mostly asking "what is this one" (I will be checking around to find the answer myself first though) and most will probably laugh at how common the bird is, but like I said I know nothing, but look forward to learning.

Hi halliwood and a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I'll look forward to your contributions and will hopefully see some of your pictures in the Gallery too.

thanks for the warm welcome, I went ahead and uploaded three photos, I hope I identified them correctly, I did have some help from a retired Bio teacher, that loves birding also.
