Hello from Maine (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
I am a lifelong bird and wildlife nut who one day hopes to be a wildlife biologist and falconer. Going back to school this fall for the former. I have a particular interest in raptors but I am fascinated by all birds. I am going birdwatching this saterday, looking for Goshawks in particular, we will be checking on a nest a friend of mine knows of. Wish me luck. Saw a Red Shouldered this weekend (thought was Gos, wishfull thinking) and it was calling just like a seagull! Learn new things all the time. I hope to learn a lot from everyone on here and pass on info myself.

Hi BlueTiercel ,

Welcome to Birdforum, you have came to the right place for birds and wildlife. Who knows we might come in useful for your studies.
Join in any of the threads that catches your attention or even check out the gallery, there will probably be some Raptors that you have never seen before in it. You have made your first step by saying Hello.

Hi BlueTiercel and welcome to Birdforum from all the Moderators and Admin. Staff.
Good luck with your studying to become a biologist, but as a conservationist and lover of all wild birds, I must say that Falconry isn't the most popular subject on here.
