Hi,

I took these between September 18 and September 21, 2018 in Changsha, Hunan Province, China.

1-3 were taken in the same place, but they were not necessarily the same bird. I reckon some kind of leaf warbler, but which one?
4 - I do not have a clue at the moment
5 - surely Peregrine Falcon?

What do you think?

Thanks in advance,
Howard

Hi Howard, the first three birds are indeed leaf-warblers, which of course are devilishly hard to ID. My first guess would be Yellow-browed Warbler. The fourth is, I believe, an immature male Oriental Magpie-Robin, and you're correct that the last is a Peregrine Falcon.

I think the 2nd and 3rd images show the same bird, which I agree looks like Yellow-browed. I'm not sure about the 1st image, but i think it might be the same individual - it has the same mottled cheek, dark tip to the lower mandible, etc.
