UK bug ID help please (2 Viewers)

Adrian D

Well-known member
I am hoping someone can help with ID for this bug that I photographed in East Kent on Monday.
Despite checking my field guide and searching online, I can't seem to find anything so far that has the black & white edges (laterotergites?) and the enlarged femur & tibia. I thought these would make ID easy, but not for me.
It also doesn't appear to show the 2 tiny 'horns' between the antennae (second photo), so that probably rules out Coreus marginatus.

Thanks in advance for any help offered,
Adrian
