CJ Wildlife are running a book clearance sale throughout March. The selection of natural history titles on offer varies in both subject and age - but all are priced to clear and there are hundreds of titles to chose from.

Many books are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to check availability on titles, or to arrange collection or delivery, please email [email protected]

Books can be collected direct from CJ Wildlife (Upton Magna, near Shrewsbury, SY4 4UR) between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday throughout March.

They can also be shipped to you. UK Shipping is free on orders over £25 in the UK (£3.25 for orders less than £25) and international shipping is available worldwide and charged at cost.

For more information, please email [email protected] or phone +44 1743 709545 from abroad or 01743 709545

PDF price list (updated 22-3-2019)
We have just added another 300 books to the sales list and update this online: https://www.birdfood.co.uk/media/march-book-clearance/march-book-clearance-price.pdf

This includes big savings on the Handbook Mammals of the World Series but we have only have a few copies of each edition and it is on a first come serve basis and they are featured online so they won't be around long.

Please mention Birdforum march sale in all communications.

I've ordered some stuff,
for anyone interested in Poysers, there are some great deals here e.g The Golden Oriole RRP 60 Pounds and going for 10, The Teal 15 down from 50, The Kittiwake down to 15 from 50.

There are a few New Naturalist titles also that collectors may want to check out.

The Southern African Birdfinder, IMHO, the best book of it's type, going for 5 Pounds, worth this price for the pull out site map alone.

This sale is well worth checking out, thanks to BF for posting.

Agreed, there are some outstanding bargains here.

For anyone on the other side of the world wondering about postage, I asked for a quote to send half a dozen books to Australia and it came in at GBP31 (for an order that would have been GBP37 before postage), so not such a great deal. But still worthwhile for some titles.

Further Reductions !

We will post a link to the final stock clearance this afternoon at 2pm, I think of particular interest to members will be the Handbook Birds of the World Series on the final page – There are volumes 1-10 all reduced from £183 each to £100 – some editions only have 1 copy left so we are expecting them to go quick.

We do, at the time of writing, have enough stock to create one set of 10, if a forum member would like to buy all 10 volumes, we would do a very exclusive forum member price of £750 (£75 per Volume!) – but this offer is only valid whilst we have enough stock to fulfil this – it would be offered to the first person interested and they will need to PM Steve and he will sort it out.
