Dear all
I only moved to Inverness recently. Is there a place in the north of scotland where I can see Starling murmuration.

I have heard about Gretna but that sadly is closer to Liverpool where I used to live than Inverness..

Many thanks in advance

Many years ago, I saw a display to the north of Strathbeg.

They were quite distant, so I don't know where they were based, but it was a pretty impressive sight. I don't know if they're still there either.

Welcome to Scotland aushalk.

They used to roost at the St. Fergus gas plant just north of Peterhead in huge numbers. No idea if they are still there, perhaps one of the Aberdeen birders on here could advise?
