Hello my name is Gary and I'm an avid Outdoorsman spend a lot of time in the tree not so much as a hunter but as an observer of God's beautiful creation I enjoy watching all wildlife and was led to the site via my research for a quality set of binoculars.
I have a Leupold Vari x 2, 3 by 9 scope on a rifle that I rarely shoot so I was immediately led to look at the BX 4 guide series 8x42 which upon researching led me to this site.
Oh, and I enjoy viewing birds very much..My favourites are the indigo blunting and Scarlet taninger.. Only seen them a handful of times but hope this site will lead me to more intentional encounters.
I'm in the beautiful Catskill Mt s of nys.
God bless

Hi ya Gary and welcome aboard :t:

You are from my favorite place of all times. Growing up and in my teen and young adult years we had a cabin on the Beaverkill River. I so loved it and if I ever win the lottery I'm heading back that way ;)

Hi Gary and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
