Bit late adding it on here... currently on 303 (UK400) for year - most recent....

300: American Golden Plover - self found bird at Warham Greens, Norfolk 26/10
301: American Black Scoter - Llanfairfechan, N Wales 29/10
302: Glossy Ibis - Porth Neigwl, Gwynedd 29/10

303: Desert Wheatear - Holy Island, Northumbs 3/11 (but no Chim!)

Although not a year tick, finding a drake Green-winged Teal at Stiffkey, Norfolk, was pleasant on 2/11.
Official BOU year list at 296... just four more to go. |8||

304: Blue-winged Teal - Cley, Norfolk 6/11

305: LITTLE SWIFT - Cromer, Norfolk 13/11
306: Grey Phalarope - West Runton, Norfolk 13/11

One off a BOU 300... and all three phalaropes now seen this year.

Done it at last. 300 BOU up with...

307: GREEN HERON - Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey 19/11

Can concentrate on the mocks now... with a few diversions to megas..

Recent misfortune has meant I haven't seen anything interesting since the heron, and have missed/dipped on species such as Upland Sandpiper and Grey-cheeked Thrush. Also currently missing Hume's Leaf Warbler, and alot more importantly, Sociable Plover.

A change in fortune, possibly. What is likely to my bird of the year, a great find from Paul French:

308: AMERICAN BUFF-BELLIED PIPIT - Wyberton Marsh, Lincolnshire 13/12

Wahey! After a recent Sociable Plover dip, it was refreshing to get out ticking:

309: Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler - Filey, N Yorks 22/12
