I even remember that day, but only because Mount St Helens blew up.

Unfortunately continuing a geographic error, here's a song on a related theme performed in the same year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NuV-cCuK2A

I'm planning to get to know David Bowie's albums better by devoting time each week to each one in the coming months.

Started with Low. I really liked the instrumentation in this second half track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK1alQN3MDg

I stumbled onto some musical history from my former haunt (the Stort River Valley).
I like it when people make an effort to give some background info! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtDNVdo4V6w&t=8m15s

This classic album celebrates its 50th birthday this year. Seems like only yesterday (sigh!):

Not the first time I find a video featuring the Salton Sea – I just hope the title does not predict the future correctly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMDwrnLrdgs

As far as I can tell, this Italian band - which I had never heard of until half an hour ago - was only active around 2018, but this track deserves a lot more views/listens! Kind of like Huggy Bear, but better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZKU...lHS18wJ2LVGwSc

Yes, I've added two views already.

Staying in the same musical area: at first I thought Hilken Mancini's Punk Rock Aerobics had finally found an audience, but I think it's just another of Alex Horne's home tasks. You have 3 minutes and 27 seconds.

I like this one too. Mention of Huggy Bear always has me heading for the more recent work of their guitarist, who definitely doesn't work in the same musical area these days:

Why has Karen suddenly become the go-to name for irritating white women?

Anyway, I can find no resemblance to any Karen Sonic Youth has ever sung about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFp7wBY5tyA

I listened to Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood this afternoon. Here's something from Organ Morgan's second-favourite composer:
