Cabela's Krotos HD 10x42mm (1 Viewer)

Handled them at a store this past Friday. I was impressed with the optical quality (inside the store at least) but the eyecups are enormous and don't extend far enough to meet the eye relief. The rest of the bin is unremarkable and reeks of Chinese optics.

I have no idea what's going on with eyecups these days. First Leupold lost their mind, now all the Cabelas bins, save the rebranded Meoptas. I'd pass.

Cabelas discontinued the Krotos spotters. The binos might be gone as well.

For what it’s worth, the general consensus is that the Krotos spotter was the same as an Athlon Ares but at a lower price (and at a much, much lower price when Cabela’s discounted them.)

Don’t know if anyone figured out if the Krotos bins had doppelgänger.
