What a mess ;) When will we have to start using American Yellow Warbler for Dendroica petechia? :-O

Niels

Don't joke - have you seen the IOC (Gill&Wright) name for Dendroica petechia? eek!: Enough to put you off the IOC names again:-O

At least Clements, H&M and IOC all agree on the African species!

Abyssinian Lark moved to Foxy Lark.

H&M does not recognize the species, S&M and Clements disagree on the name, so I used our rule of using IOC as a tie-breaker in this case, and they prefer the same name as Clements.

Page "Lesser Hoopoe Lark" moved to "Lesser Hoopoe-Lark".
Page "Greater Hoopoe Lark" moved to "Greater Hoopoe-Lark".

Hyphen used by S&M, H&M, Clements

Stock Pigeon moved to Stock Dove. Clements and H&M agree on this name.
Common Wood Pigeon to Common Wood-Pigeon
Lemon Dove moved from genus Aplopelia to Columba (consensus)

Page "Troupial" moved to "Venezuelan Troupial". as discussed in species thread

Niels

Edit: I dont even know if it belongs in this thread, but we had two entries for the same bird, Campo Troupial and Campo Oriole. I collated the content of the two and made the second into a redirect for the first.
