63mm vs 80mm (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone.
I'm very close to ordering a Swarovski scope (even though their expensive) to start my digiscoping hobby. I've never owned a scope, but I'm an experienced photographer. I'm buying everything new that I need to start digiscoping, not using anything I already may have.

Should I spring for the 80mm vs the cheaper 65mm? I know the 80mm will bring in more light obviously, but is it that much more? Just looking for your thoughts or opinions.

Best,
Dan in Coralville, IA

Yes, alot more. If cost is an issue, buy a Kowa 88x Fluorite. Cheaper, better, with even more aperture. Lot's of support for digiscoping too.
