No problem with separating the adults of these two species - but I find it bafflingly tricky to ID this juvenile. Both species were around. Thanks in advance!

Colour on side of tail and the wing bars make me think it's a young Citril Finch.

The bill structure is certainly not that of a Redpoll and you can see from this image, how Citril is now considered to be a close relative of the Goldfinch.
