Roosting blue tits??? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I was wondering if any members could help me, this is the situation to date. I have a home made nest box, with 28mm entrance hole fitted with aluminum protection plate. Its situated north facing 3mtrs high on house wall. I have had and blue tit roosting here for the last 2 month with visits from other blue tits. However there is no nesting activity to date, only this male tit roosting every night. The box floor is covered with dropping and there has been no visits through the day over the last two weeks. Is it too late for blue tits to start nest building at this time of year. I do hope they will nest build soon but as time goes on im loosing faith. Whats your thoughts anyone.

Cheers

Chris from Gateshead, UK.|;|
