Peacock on the Loose! (1 Viewer)

Had a Peacock Butterfly flying round the factory this morning, it was 5' c at the time. We dont normally see them till about mid Feb. Whats the chances of that 1 surviving i wonder?

I had a Small Tortoiseshell on Monday. The odd hibernating butterfly will take flight on a warm day over the winter. As long as they find somewhere else to hold up they can return to a state of hibernation and sleep the winter out.

Thats good to hear, we dont get many down here these days. I remember when i was a kid there were millions of butterflies near the footy square. Now its just a handful.
