I will be visiting Harare, Zimbabwe sometime soon. I was wondering what opportunities there are for birding within Harare and surroundings.
- Are there any local guides?
- Where are the best places to bird?
 
Whilst a bit out of date now, this book has a good section on Harare and surrounds: Southern African Birdfinder.

You could also do worse than drop a line to these guys with your question: http://www.cheepersbirding.com/africa.html

Some previous threads on this forum also cover some Harare sites (and there aren't many to check!).
