PS; Look out for Bluethroats on the wet mud in the same saltmarsh as in you photo They are there now,

https://www.birdforum.net/images/smilies/lol2.gif but problem is, technically it doesn't refer to the same species - on wiki commons, I'm constantly having to move photos of Saxicola rubicola from the Saxicola torquatus category to the Saxicola rubicola category. People still get confused, because the English name 'Common Stonechat' historically refers to the name Saxicola torquatus

Well I see the confusion but when I said the same species I meant that the ID of others on here is the same species ie; Stonechat in Portugal. So yes S.rubicola - though one must bear in mind that even the latest edition of the Collins Bird Guide has it down as S.torquatus - so the recent taxonomic sort out as S.rubicola is often confusing to the masses. Of course you are correct and it does have some importance
