Hi
A couple of years ago I was in the lammermuirs in the scottish borders and at the side of the road on a fence post was a large thrush with spotting on its breast at the time i dismissed the sighting as it seemed to be unidentifiable however from research i am starting to think mistle thrush as this bird was greyish green on its back and larger than any song thrsh ive seen. Also it lacked the slight streaking that song thrushes have near their throat any ideas?
Thanks
