Possible siting of Goshawk Cumbria (1 Viewer)

Travelling Along A590 on Sunday morning close to Brettaugh Holt roundabout heading towards M6. Husband spotted what he thought was a Goshawk so turned back at roundabout for 2nd look when we both saw a raptor. Quite large pale front, brown wings sat on dry stone wall. Any comments on how probable Goshawk sighting in this area?

They're normally quite secretive, I think sitting in the open, in a busy road area, is perhaps more likely to be a Common Buzzard, which often do just that, hoping to take advantage of roadkill.

Cheers
