Anyone see a spider attack a hatch-ling like this before?

Checkout this link to a video of a spider attack on a Chickadee hatch-ling and then the Chickadee mom removing the spider from the nest. In my previous post about this spider attack I shared the link to all my videos of swallow/chickadee nesting activities and events. I realized I should have titled this one as this question since I'd like to back from people in case anyone else has ever seen this:

When I asked a couple Entomologists about this, as well as the Cornell University Ornithology Lab, nobody had heard of this happening before. The entomologist thought it was a Jumping spider, and at this point after looking up things online, I think it's a Bold Jumper of some kind:

Here's the the link to all the videos and the link to my live USTREAM of the birdhouse nesting this season:

I'll be interested to know of any similar sightings...thanks!

Thanks for the replies. Rafael, I looked at your site---beautiful photos! It's amazing the technical tools we have today via Internet--instant access to information of every kind. In seconds I had been able to look up and get close to identifying that spider, and just now used Google Translate to translate your site info from Portuguese to English (and these days your iphone will read the translations for you also, so always able to communicate anywhere). I was (still am at heart) a biologist also, your work sounds very interesting not to mention your travels.

Andy, yes it appears to be large for what my best guess is: a Bold Jumpter, Phidippus audax. The other day I saw another smaller one on the hood of my car (see attached picture I took of it).

I'll be curious if another one manages to show up in one of the birdhouses this season, not to mention what other adventures I record. That's the advantage of having tiny video cameras inside (and outside) of each birdhouse and being able to leave them to record 24/7, then check the recordings every day to see what happened. It allows for seeing behavior otherwise very hard to document. If you look on my USTREAM "About" notes, it has info on my equipment used. I'm really liking these little video cameras and how they can be used to document wildlife!
