I dont have a picture of this one because it's had to see this bird. But I spotted him/her in my backyard a couple times now. It's definitely a thrush, but it isnt singing, so I can only go by the fat that the spotting on it is not super dark, but also not really faded. ALso, it constantly bobs its tail. ANy hints?

Northern Waterthrush should look more streaked rather than spotted.

The description given fits well for Hermit Thrush: medium-dark spotting, late in the year, tail-bobbing.
 
It's a Hermit Thrush - that 'dropping' of the tail rather than bobbing is pretty distinctive. As is the tails more rufous coloration.
 
I just watched a video on them, and yes, it is a Hermit Thrush that I saw. Wow, right in my own backyard, awesome! Thanks for the ID folks!
