Blackbirds fall from Arkansas Sky (1 Viewer)

Could it be a flashbang (like a concussion grenade)? Just idle thoughts. Also, we had M80's as kids, which were almost the same (they could shred a mailbox).

Recall an event in Breese,Ill. in 90's were tens of thousands of starlings comingled with various native icters',roosted in town. Most of birds were in an area of about one half section in size.Wasnt just percieved as,but was a major problem.City authorities used fireworks, firearms, and a carbide canon as noise makers to clear birds from area.It was only when a poison was used and prolific numbers of dead birds appeared that incident recieved any notoriety. No mention was ever made mass panic response.Dont dispute incident in arkansas, find prior events to be more interesting than ever as a result of recent event(s).
