I posted my report earlier this year but unfortunately I must have done it wrong because only the first few pages appeared. This should be correct now! All of my reports can be viewed on our website at Annandroland.co.uk

"We soon found that the Fins are not very friendly – no hellos or smiles when you passed people or moved over to make way for them on narrow paths, boardwalks etc."

Sorry, I smiled at this. You shouldn't take it as discourtesy because such we Finns are. o:D
But deep down inside we are very polite and helpful. At least most of us...

I noticed one mistake (I believe) on your Birdlist. I don't think you saw Western Cattle Egret. I bet it has been Great White Egret. Plenty of observations for that from August 2017, but not any of Cattle Egret.

Thank you for your comments :)
I am glad I made you smile. I'm sure you are mostly polite and helpful but maybe a little reserved? It certainly wouldn't stop us returning to Finland - maybe in search of owls and bears.
I will remove the Western cattle egret from the list. I am surprised that we confused it with Great white egret as there is an immediate difference in size and neck. There again - no-one is perfect, including me!
