At 75, I think I need a new hobby, so I'm exploring birding. I joined this to get some education, and see what I'm missing. I don't expect to get a long list of sightings in my limited life left, but it does get me walking!

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We’re glad you found us and please join in wherever you like ;)

Hi Art, welcome to the forum and your new hobby. Arizona is a good place for a new birder, lots of birds in spring and fall migrating through. Many stay for the summer and mild winters.

Hi Art and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi Art and welcome. Enjoy your visits here and enjoy your birding walks too. Going birding can give opportunities to see not only birds but flowers, butterflies and dragonflies and much more too.
